Strengthscope® certified by British Psychological Society


We’re delighted to announce that Strengthscope® has become the first strengths assessment to achieve Registered Test Status with the UK’s British Psychological Society (BPS), which means it is the only strengths assessment in the world to achieve this highly prestigious status, obtained only after rigorous testing for reliability, validity and ‘fitness for purpose’.

BPS standards are based on European Federation of Psychologists’ Associations (EFPA) guidelines, which are recognised as a global gold standard. The BPS has confirmed that Strengthscope®:

  • Measures the 24 strengths in the model reliably over time
  • Predicts high performance at work
  • Measures what energises and motivates people at work in order to help them discover areas where they can achieve peak performance and high engagement (in this sense, Strengthscope® differs from traditional personality measures that help to explain behaviour and preferences).

In addition, recent independent studies, including one by City University London¹, have shown that Strengthscope® is both a valid and reliable measure of work-based strengths and other studies show that the assessment measures strengths without bias across gender, age and ethnic group.
